AWESOME ANTS DAILY SCHEDULE

9:00-9:10
Arrival - Campers will start the day in centers while all of the children are arriving.

9:10-9:30
Welcome Circle - We will begin every morning circle with our classroom welcome song and introduce campers to the activities for the day.

9:30-10:00
Outdoor Free Play - We will be able to play with the next oldest classroom during outside time.  The Busy Bees will join us for the last 15 minutes of our scheduled outdoor play!

10:00-10:10
Diapers/Potty and Hand Washing - After coming inside we will assist campers in using the restroom as needed, change campers' diapers, and wash hands in preparation for morning snack.

10:10-10:30
Snack - We will eat snack, then clean up and wash hands. Campers will be encouraged to use phrases such as "Mine!" (when a teacher passes out snacks), "all done," and please."

10:30 -10:45
Language Circle: During Language Circle we will read our book of the day and complete a language-based activity centered on the book's theme.

10:45 - 11:00
Science: Our science experiments always start with a question. Campers will be encouraged to make their own guess about the outcome of the experiment with the help of visual cues. Then, campers will have the opportunity to participate in the hand-on experiments and see the results!

11:00 -11:15
Centers: Campers will have some free time to explore the week's centers while they are guided by teachers to foster communication and peer interaction.

11:15 - 11:30
Art: Campers will create an art project that relates to the day's theme. Art will be displayed in the classroom and hallways until it is sent home with the camper.

11:30 -11:50
Centers/Wash hands: After cleaning up from art, campers will be allowed to go back to centers until it is time to wash hands in preparation for lunch.

11:50 - 12:20
Lunch: Campers will be assisted with their lunches as need. Campers will be encouraged to interact with their peers and discuss the day's events during this time.

12:20 -12:30
Diapers/Potty and Hand Washing - After coming inside we will assist campers in using the restroom as needed, change campers' diapers, and wash hands.

12:30 - 12:45 

Music/Goodbye Circle: We will sing various songs, including songs that relate to the weekly theme and our class goodbye song. Campers will have the opportunity to say "bye!" to their peers and teachers during this time.
