Here's a look at what the Awesome Ants can expect from next week's safari theme!
We will be reading:
Monday - Elephants Can't Jump by Jeanne Willis
Tuesday - Way Far Out on the Wild Safari by Jan Peck
Wednesday - Charles Tiger by Siobhan Dodds
Thursday - I Love Trees by Cari Meister
This week's goals are to:
- further encourage engagement and interest in structured activities
- continue to foster peer relationships
- learn about the safari!
Theme Goals
- Encouraging two word responses when prompted with questions
- Learning about different animals and plants that live in the safari
- Learning about size (big and small)
- Working on labeling or commenting using visual picture cues and 1-3 word phrases
This week at camp, you can get excited about:
- Learning new songs
- Making safari animal footprints
- Exploring the Safari Scene center
- Continuing to develop friendships
